Wild Yam & Chaste Berry Salve

At Jasper Soap Company this salve is a labour of love. I steep the dried powder for a minimum of six weeks in an Olive oil infusion. Once strained the Olive oil is then combined with natural beeswax and Bergamot essential oils to make the salve.  Often I find myself infusing for much longer than the basic recommendation to ensure the best quality of the salve. 

Used in tradition herbal medicine, these combined herbs are said to help ease the tensions on the body cause by bad Menopause and menstruation. This specific recipe we obtained from a Local Alberta lady who designed this recipe in her family, Upon her retirement, we were asked to carry on this herbal salve as her community fell in love with it. 

This Wild Yam, Chaste Berry & Black Cohosh Salve is specially designed to support those navigating hormonal fluctuations such as Menopause, PMS, Peri Menopause, or hormone sensitivity. You are supported throughout this journey.

Directions: Using clean hands, gently apply the salve to the inner thighs, lower abdomen, and hips. Repeat daily for seven consecutive days. Wash hands thoroughly after application. Store in a cool, dark place away from sunlight.
